The 87th friendship games took place recently in Corrigan Park Antrim. Originaly the Dublin Belfast games, the games have been recently rebranded with the almagation of the city and county boards of CnmB Antrim. This longstanding tradition between the two counties involves 90 children from each county playing football, hurling, camogie, girls football and handball in a competitive but friendly environment. For many participants, this is the first opportunity to represent their county. At the end of the games each player presents their opponent with a special medal, a token of friendship. We look forward to welcoming Antrim down to Dublin in June 2024 for the 88th edition of the event.
