Belfast Friendship Games 2018

On Friday June 15th over 80 boys and girls from Belfast travelled down by train to St Patrick's College Drumcondra for the 84th annual Friendship Games. Boys and girls were selected from all over Dublin city and county to represent their school and county in the game. In a day when 5 matches were played, one in Hurling, Camogie, Ladies Football, boys football and handball, great enjoyment was had by all and the large number of parents and spectators were treated to some quality Gaelic Games. The Boys and Girls from Belfast were then treated to a tour of Glasnevin Cemetrey before catching the train back to Belfast again.

Thanks again to Belfast for travelling down. We will travel next year to Belfast for the games.

Thanks to our Dublin CnmB Coordinator Emmett Toher (Drimnagh Castle) for all the hard work and organising.
