Fintan will be known by many as the Hurley man, distributing and mending hurls around the city before they were readily available. Fintan was always a strong supporter of our Athletics programme and was key for its revival in the early noughties.
Fintan was also a founding member of the National branch of CnmB and served in a number of positions including chairperson and secretary. Fintan has been honoured for his contribution to CnmB, receiving the Pat Trainer Hall of Fame award and the FODH Hall of Fame Award.
A man with many strings to his bow, Fintan entertained at many National Awards and CnmB Social event. A proud Laois man and adopted Ballyboden man, Fintan will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam
