As we reach the final round of fixtures of the group stages of the senior leagues please note the following.

• The structure of the knockout stage depends on the number of groups in your league, for example, group of 3, A.B.C, group of 4, A.B.C.D, group of 5 A.B.C.D.E

If by friday (27th) of this week it is clear that two or three teams will finish on the same points please contact runai@cnmb.ie or 0862077535. (head to head decides if two teams finish on the same points if a two way tie) There will be time next week to play playoffs. However, no group game/playoff can be played after Friday October 4th as Quarter finals will be generated on Saturday October 5th. Any fixtures not completed will be tossed for by the coiste.

For Knockout games, referees are agreed upon by both teams and should be taken from the official list.

For Quarter finals, the first teams are home unless otherwise stated.

For semi finals the venues are neutral and selected by the coiste unless agreed upon by both teams. This is a huge task and we ask for your patience as we try to find suitable venues in a short timeframe.

Finals

If your school qualifies for a final you will be asked to enter teamlists and teachers names into the members area of the website.

Schools who qualify also have to provide a helper teacher to help run the event. This is mandatory. A huge amount of work and effort goes into making the days a success , where a school decides not to send a helper their invitation to compete in future cnmb activities may be revoked.

Sciath/Shields, 

There will be no sciath/shields for the current football season. CnmB has formed a working group of teachers who are looking at how we could reestablish them, under the chairmanship of Gerry O Meara, Scoil Treasa Firhouse. If you wish to assist or contribute to the working group please email runai@cnmb.ie.
