Cumann na mBunscol’s Athletics events are coordinated by the CnmB Coiste Lúthcleasa.

The following information should help schools who intend entering an athletics team for the School Sports.

Cumann na mBunscol runs its schools Athletics sports in Morton Stadium, Santry. For the 2023 season, the sports will take in UCD due to ongoing development works in Morton Stadium.

Steps for entering a team.

  1. A team must be registered during the registration window in February.
  2. The event takes place over a number of days in late May.
  3. During the registration window, a school is only entering one team of athletes, depending on the school setting. Ie, Boys, Girls, Mixed.
  4. Once registered, at a later date, you will be contacted to confirm the events your school is entering, the athletes names and date of births. This is done electronically through the members area of the the website.
